  The word MUTED is displayed on my dash and my sound is very low on the radio, just a slight amount of weak treble.  no bass whatsoever.. Radio is a Audi Concert as standard . Can anyone tell me how to unmute it.  i have obviously pressed something wrong. I have no mobile phone connected. This is only recently happened. Any advice appreciated..

  A question for Avant maybe or 659, who is the fountain of all knowledge on VW PD engines. I have an Audi A3 2003 1.9 TDi which I assume is fitted with the Bosch injectors. But I would dearly like to get hold of an A4 Avant 1.9 TDI around the same age. The question is how can i find out if it is fitted with the reliable Bosch injectors or the later piezo siemens ones which cause so much grief ?

    I never realised what a difference a good battery can make ;my wifes XKR is now a different car with a Varta battery from Tanya and the replacement for my Audi is superb. Both were around the same price as H******S even with the delivery charge, prompt delivery and a very easy website   Full marks to www.Tanya.co.uk

  hi my audi a4 refuses to start, ive narrowed it down to a lack of fuel supply, ive checked the fuses which are fine, and the relay which doesn't look the best but clicks and buzzes when the ignition is turned on, but i have measured the current at the connector on the in tank pump and it is only 1.3volts at most, would this indicate the relay is broke?

    I realise I need the code for the radio, but the card with the code on it has been detached from the Concert user guide by the car's previous owner. My local Audi dealer informs me that I need to pay £10 to retrieve the code, plus supply the VIN number and serial number from side of the radio, which means removing the radio. Would be grateful for any advice if anyone know any different to the above.

  I can't just go for a long drive each time the filter bungs up.It bungs every 40 miles!!. I have given a letter to Audi saying that if it keeps going wrong I will have to have a refund. I am flabber gasted that there is no other way round this!? Car is 7 months old..6000 miles Any advice?

  Not sure if ayone can answer this but i had a company  car in April 2009 that was involved in a traffic accident, the car was written off so my company has given me a hired car ever since, my question is do i still need to pay the annual company car tax benefit? They are still taxing me on the Audi that i have not had since April 2009 is this right? i have checked the net but can not seem to find an answer. Thanks in advance if  you can help

  My A4 has done 114k and is due its (second) belt change - presumably the water pump should be changed at the same time - Should I use the "genuine" kit? Do Audi still supply the w/pump with the plastic impellor which can fail? I understand there is a "vibration damper" - is this part of the kit and if not should it also be changed at this mileage?

  Hi there, Hoping someone can help with this having read some of the other posts. My Audi A3 1.8T (Y reg) starts okay sits at normal revs for about 10-20 seconds then revs drop really low and engine then dies. Engine warning light also on. Bit of a car novice so any advice from those more technically gifted greatly appreciated!

  I would like to get a so called 'sealed for life' box serviced with oil and filter change. As I'm sure many know, Audi main dealers will not touch these unless something has gone wrong (which it hasn't..) and so I'd rather use a specialist.   I gave my 2 years and 10 months old Audi A4 its regular bi-annual wash today and noticed some bubbling of laquer on the spokes of the front wheels only. It looks like bubbling but it is very firm when pressed with say your fingernail - I didn't want to get scraping just yet.

  A small problem but frustrating.... My Audi A3 (2001) is just back from the garage and they have not fitted the driver's door trim correctly. The triangular plastic corner piece where the mirror is will not push firmly up to its proper postiton.

  i have recentley purchased the wife an audi tt direct from the finance company our first port of call was cam belt due in this tuesday unfortunately whilst using it today the belt or chain i have been informed by mr AA has broken. Have managed to get the vehicle into a local garage of a mechanic we no well and he said would start tom, has anyone got any ideas fo how severe these are and any likely costs. many thanks.

  Hello all, can anyone give me any imfomation, on a clutch problem i have with my 97 audi a4, since buying it 12 months ago it has made a low pitched wuring noise when depressing clutch pedal and is heard very slightly from 1st to 4th gear, 5th is fine, and today a freind has bought one with exactley the same problem, im just wondering wether its a commen problem easy to solve or its going to be expensive.
