  Has anyone suffered with a rushing water noise when they start up their engine (mine is a 98 Citroen SaxoVTR)? Which becomes louder on applying revs. Is it getting to the point now where i am getting really pink furry dice and miffed. Started hearing the water noise and then the temperature gage went into the red.

  Guys, In all the time I've looked after Citroens the ABS systems have been very reliable, perhaps I've just been lucky! The BXs have given no trouble at all and I know usually a front wheel sensor or earthing repair will sort them out. The Xantias have been OK up to now but I have two this week with wheel sensor faults.

  Hi, would anyone know if the 2020 version of the Toyota Proace has any issues with the DPF. Am I correct in thinking these vehicles share the DPF with Citroen, Vauxhall, and Peugeot, and the 2020 version would contain an upgraded DPF to earlier vrsions ?? Anything I should be worried about concerning DPF's (or anything else for that matter) on tis 2020 Proace ??

  After a few weekends trying out carshave narrowed the final five down to Ford Mondeo. Seat Leon St. Vauxhall Zafiria Tourer. Peugeot 5008. Citroen C4 Grand Picasso.   Just need to find one with the right spec (sat nav & powerfold mirrors) with preferably petrol engine with in my budget of £7K to £9K up to 5 years old

  Dear John, as to me the new Suzuki Vitara compares in no way to the Renault Captur, the Opel Mokka, or the Citroen Cactus, neither to the Fiat 500 X whatever journalists might say. It should be compared to the Mitsubishi ASX to begin wth. Further more: it seems to me a great car, taking into account the price for the low budget versions.

  I suppose its inevitable, but do you think they are going to ramp up easy targets just for revenue? Why dont more cars have speed limiters? - I thought the one in Citroen C4 Grand Picasso I test drove was a good idea. Even better if it was automatically controlled, say by GPS.   My daughter's Citroen AX has just developed a huuuuge amount of side-to-side play at the gearlever. Push forward for third and pull back for reverse. Driving it is very simple, if a little hard on the clutch. Any views on what I might find tomorrow?

  hi, i have a 1999 citroen berlingo multispace 1.9 diesel it has developed a fault. you can't lift your foot off the clutch pedal with the engine running! because of a loud grinding/screeching sound coming from the gearbox, but you can still get the gears ok,, any suggestions please as i hope this is not going to cost me an arm and a leg thanks!!

  Hi, Can forum members give any advice to best small diesel car? Like the look of the Citroen C3 and Skoda Fabia, need something that fits a 6'3 tall driver, nice to drive and comfortable. Long term reliability is important as I will probably buy used 3 to 4 years old and keep to high mileage.

  Had pioneer cd installed few years ago in my citroen xsara s reg. Works fine but lately keeps muting and mute displays on screen of stereo. Weird because dont have mute button on the stereo at all. feeling loose wire on connector on back to blame, how easy to fix any auto electricians out there, how much looking at to fix ££££££££

  Spent an enjoyable hour today looking at an xj6. 96,P plate showing 80k with FJSH,from an independant jag dealer. But why was the sunroof lip rusting in 3 places? My M plate Citroen AX has no rust anywhere! (Yes i know half of it is plastic!) The jag also had a frayed drivers seatbelt. I came away unimpressed, is this normal for such a fine looking brit luxobarge?

  Any clues anyone? Heading for Portsmouth last night, Citroen 1998 HDI 2 years old 29000, A3 exit on M25, loud bang from engine compartment (felt through bulkhead by passenger). Engine still runs, but very smoky and intermittent loss of power with occasional noise that sounds like a miss functioning servo.

  Hi, Is there anywhere I can obtain a list of all the passenger vehicles currently on sale in the UK which come in 7 seats or more and if possible with what engine options? Have a friend who wants to part ex their 19 plate Citroen Berlingo 7 seater diesel which is now out of warranty. They want/need another 7 seater but can’t find a list anywhere of what’s actually available new. Thanks

  All the usual suspects figured in his statistics and I suppose is good for business. No 1 Fiat followed by Citroen, Peugeot and Renault. Hardly ever sees any Japanese cars.

  As an Avensis owner I'm very satisfied with build quality, reliability and warranty but very disappointed at the choice of models in the middle range. The Auris looks cheap and rather odd-the Astra, Focus, VAG and Citroen are much better to look at.

  Hi All, I've had some issues (coolant leak, EGR valve) with my car (Citroen C4 Grand Picasso). It's within 6 months since I've purchased the car and I'm wondering who is legally obligated to pick up the tab for the repairs, myself or the dealer?   I am in the market for a new car and comparing the Citroen C4 Picasso diesels (recently released) and the Peugeot 5008. I am surprised by the differences in VED cost - it seems the C4 Picasso has changed engines and got down to Band B in some examples yet the 5008 diesels are much higher.

  I've hardly see a Laguna coupe or Citroen C6. Subarus also spring to mind. The last Legacy was a handsome car but latest isn't going to win any design awards. Ditto the Impressher, well that doesn't impress me.  II've only seen 3 new Saab 9-5s.
