Toyota Yaris II/Vitz (2006 - ) - Headlights did not switch off automatically! 14 Dec 2007 (Forum)
Are there any other cars on the market like this? Fortunately my wife's VW has now been repaired so I get to drive to work in the MINI Cooper D tomorrow whilst the disgraced Yaris gets to sit on the kerbside before going back to the car hire firm. -
Lancia - Ypsilon, driving experience. 25 Sep 2007 (Forum)
The colour co-ordinated dash (a la FIAT Coupe) is just great. I think AlteaEgo liked it too, it will take a big chunk of sales out of the MINI - and will eclipse the Twingo launch here. The cinquecento has that amazing ability to make you think .... well, it's a bit tight for me to sit here in the driving seat but I could live with it...it is so cute... ------------------------- 07 Kia Ceed LS 05 Citroën C4 VT 04 Mazda MX5 85 Mini Mayfair -

Probably the most amazing car in Britain 22 Apr 2024 (Forum)
This weeks car review in the Sunday Times by Jeremy Clarkson gave a 4.5 star award to the Mazda 3 Saloon and not the usual selection of super cars. Not like the usual mini SUV with some kind of preposterous and unnecessarily complicated hybrid drive system or they are fully electric which is even more stupid he argues . Mazda has no interest in any of this nonsense . -
Verso - Toyota Verso- Engine/Gearbox options 2 May 2022 (Forum)
I've been looking at these (Verso) on the net as I'm looking to do a mini camper conversion as an alternative to the usual Berlingo/Partner/Doblos as I want something reliable. So far all the petrols seem to either 1.6 or 1.8 petrol which I'd prefer but are almost all V-Matic which I assume is auto. -
Peugeout 306 HDI meridian Diesel 1999 model - Meaning of warning light on dashboard 21 Sep 2020 (Forum)
The symbol is a circle with a partial circle to the right and left outside the circle. Inside the circle there is a mini car which is at an angle. Under the car are two tracks crisscrossing each other like an x. Is this something to do with the traction or anti- brake locking system? And is it safe to make a 34 mile return journey today and perhaps a 6 mile journey tomorrow? -

need a small run around pool car 14 Nov 2013 (Forum)
In one of my my business incarnations I run a lettings agency. The manager drives a Mini, but that will soon depart and we need to source a less expensive pool car which will be used not only for her but other staff to go out to doing inspections etc. I reckon that the car will do no more than 6,000 miles pa and there will be lot of stop start trips. -
New "A" Class. 15 Dec 2011 (Forum)
I am not a great fan of German styling which is one of the reasons I have steered clear of the small versions of the big 4. However, the announcement that the new Merc "A" class would move away from the mini MPV styling tempted me, as I pictured it as a smaller "C" class which is probably my favourite among the German rivals. I can also get some good deals on Mercs through the family. However, after seeing the spy shots, this car is unlikely to be gracing my drive any time soon.
