Renault Laguna III (2007 - ) - Can the new Laguna be trusted 24 Jan 2016 (Forum)
It was a 1.5Dci and yes I was very impressed with it. Smooth quiet and incredibly economical. Our 4 year old Mazda MPV is beginning to cost money and my wife (who drives the Mazda) would like a change. Reports on the last Laguna were dreadful (some garages wouldn't touch them). Should be be tempted by a new Laguna Sport Tourer 1.5Dci or should we look at a Mondeo or Octavia? -

Mx5 mk3 2.0 roadster - Engine failure after90k miles 21 Apr 2014 (Forum)
My mx5 has just suffered connecting rod failure. It's done 90k miles and is 7 years old. It has a full Mazda service history. It has never been on a track day or anything like that. This seems an unusually catastrophic failure for a car of this age. I have no idea what my options are and also whether I should have any expectation of Mazda looking into this further. -

MPG decrease since ATF fluid replaced 19 Jul 2011 (Forum)
Can anyone possibly think as to why this would be? I have a mazda 6 auto and the original ATF fluid had never been replaced so I replaced if a fortnight ago via mazda dealer (car was at 88k). Invoiced for 3 litres of ATF fluid replaced Since then the gear changes are not as smooth (when it goes from one to two...you can really feel the surge of power) and my economy is down 3-4mpg (same driving I have done week in and week out for years) -

How long do engines last? 2 Jul 2003 (Forum)
Showed my dad an advert of the car i want -\'96 Mazda 323 1.5 gxi with 70,000 miles. His first concern was that 70,000 miles is too much for a petrol engine (my/his old diesel corolla has done 86,000) and i should watch out for blue smoke etc etc. I had never even thought about 70,000 miles on a Mazda 323 as being a problem at all if i get one thats been cared for. -

Mazda 6 2.2d Sport Nav 2016 - What to do? P2118 & DPF Malfunction 5 Jul 2024 (Forum)
P101 Mass air flow filter P 2458(00) DPF Regeneration process duration malfunction P 2118 P101 P101 P2458 U401 Invalid data received ECM U0433 Invalid data received Cruise Control distance range sensor Does anyone have any idea of what we should do now? There is not a chance that we will go to a Mazda dealer as we just don't trust them. (When it was 2 weeks outside the 3-year warranty, with 58k miles on the clock, Mazda wouldn't do anything when we had a broken oil chain which caused severe damage resulting in us having to have a new bottom end, cam shaft, turbo charger, flywheel and the dpf removed from the car and professionally cleaned at high temperature). -
Mazda 3 1.6 tdi - At a loss as to what to do now! 22 Oct 2019 (Forum)
I have a 1.6d Mazda 3 2007 it has an intermittent problem where it will cut out (revs drop and nothing I do will stop the car from stalling) and then the car sometimes will not want to restart, other times it will restart on first turn of the key, it could be when I am idling, driving, changing gear, accelerating, breaking, there is no correlation that I can find. -
