• Audi Q2 - Audi Q2 clutch failure & left on suspension blocks 14 Feb 2022 (Forum)
  They are blaming the audi approved garage that carried out our service and saying its not upto audi to pay the £1100 to fix this.   So we are facing nearly £4000 in repairs for a 14 month old car, which we have been driving around with the suspension blocks on and a clutch gone and not under warranty due to drivers fault?

  It's long(ish), so bear with me. Three and a half weeks ago, I bought a reasonably new used Audi SQ5 from Audi Northampton. It had 18k miles on the clock, and was the spec I was looking for (all the bells and whistles), so I travelled a fair distance to view it. I travelled 130 miles to view it, in fact.

  Just wondering if anyone can provide any advice on the difference between these two cars in terms of ongoing maintenance and repair costs since whilst I prefer the A4 I've been reading a lot saying that it's not that reliable and I'm looking at a roundabout 2017 A4 Avant or Vauxhall Passat and much as I like the Audi I know nothing about cars and I'm a bit worried that even going to independent garages I'm going to get hit for ongoing expensive repairs with the Audi..... would appreciate anyone's views on this that has knowledge of Audi running costs

  Hi all. Of the five larger petrol V6 engines Audi offered for the Series 2 A6 (the 2.8 litre 30-valve V6, the 2.7 litre 30 valve turbo V6 (also found in the B5 platform S4), a 4.2 litre 40-valve V8, and later, a new 3.0 litre 30-valve V6 to replace the 2.8 and an updated version of the 2.7's turbo), do any of them have reliability problems?

  Does anyone know where I can locate an Coolant Hose for an Audi A4 2.0 SE Petrol. The main dealer says a back log of 10 days is on. Ive been without my car for like 6 days already, Ive tried local salvages and VW and Skoda, which are both the same as Audi. Does anyone know of a 24 hour or next day deliveries audi parts place, im desperate now guys.

  Audi A4 2. Mercedes C Class 3. Mercedes E class 4. BMW 3 series 5. bMW 5 series 6. Audi A5 I believe Petrol is more suitable to my needs but happy to hear your opinions (I can do 20-30 mile Motorway journey every 15 days) My key concern is reliability as I don’t want to end up with huge maintenance bill and I am not good at DIY Having a good infotainment system would be good.

  My second question is this. Look at the following stats, all for the same engine - the 1.9tdi 130: Car / combined mpg Audi A4 manual 51 Audi A4 auto 48 VW Passat manual 51 VW Passat auto 39 Why the huge drop for the VW? I thought they'd be the same gearbox? Is the VW auto just a bad box? Does VAG fiddle the quoted numbers to steer you towards an audi?

  Looking at Audi and Volkswagen suv's I thought they both use the same engines etc, But seen the service interval for a 2017 2.0 A6 is 20k and yet the 2017 Tiguan 2.0 is 10k Is this correct

  Is it just me , or have others noticed the proliferation of new Audis , mostly in white , and many of those convertibles ?   Is this a new cult ?       I think they will look very dated very quickly. I just don't understand

  My car, which is an Audi A4 2.0 TDi Se Technik 136 4dr, has just had its MOT. Everything was fine except that the tester stated that the clutch was showing signs of wear. The car was registered in July 2011 and has done around 42k miles.

  I recently bought an Audi S4 avant 2001(6 days ag0), one owner from an independant Audi specialist . The car was HPI clear and no obvious problems. I polished the car at the weekend and noticed that there were "rust pimples" coming through on the bottoms of all four doors and also the two rear wings.

  I am having warranty problems with the A/C on my Audi A4. It has been serviced by an authorised Audi dealer for the first 2 years only. I had its last 40k service done at a Audi specialist. At 27 months the A/C motor and CD player have stopped working and Audi UK are informing me that the terms of the 3rd year state it must be serviced at an Audi Dealer for the 3rd year and as such the warranty is now void.

  I own a Audi A4 110 TDI, wghich I purchased new on 1/8/98. To date the catalytic converter has been replaced twice. The present one is now defective and needs replaced, (the car has been serviced by Audi from new and has covered 68,000 miles).
