  Hi all Looking st purchasing a 2018 C220d estate AMQ line spec. Car has covers 54k. Anything I need to look for in particular (had Audi, BMWs but never a Merc). Are they cambelt or chain? Service intervals? Thanks

  I've just bought a BMW 3 series on run flats. Its an M Sport 320D, ride quality over some rural roads is shocking! Given how much it will cost me to change the tyres to standard tyres will the better ride that results be worth it or is the difference marginal?

  Fitted two Driveguards on rear of a BMW E90 last year. Both now below legal limit, having done only 10,000 miles. Not down to driving style - one budget brand that was on the car when I bought it two years ago still has more tread then the Bridgestones.

  We have £7k budget to buy a family car and thinking of either a diesel 09 Citreon C5 or an older BMW/Audi diesel. Moneys tight so needs to be reliable, with low servicing costs etc. Does anyone have any alternatives?

  The Mitsubishi Outlander, which is also rebadged as the C-Crosser and 4007, has been replaced by an all-new version - and Mitsubishi has sold the Nedcar plant in Netherlands to BMW so they build Mini. Does this mean that the C-Crosser and 4007 are simply being discontued ?

  It was 2004 Audi A4 Cabrilet 3.0 TDI. It's quite gorgeous, certainly a classic in the making. Also the original Audi TT and BMW Z3 spring to mind. These are not quite there, however, they must be on the cusp. Any other suggestions?

  When I was playing with Jeeps at West Harptree a couple of weeks ago, one of the offroad instructors told me that a customer had got a discound of £12.5k off the £30k commander. Apparently he traded in an early BMW x5 and paid just £7k on top. Can this be right?

  Looking around some leasing sites I have noticed that a new Audi A6 2.0 Tdi is available for lease for less than the equivalent A4. I was recently looking at either a BMW 520d or an A6 2.0 Tdi and now I'm wondering is there something wrong with the new A6?

  I paid for an online valuation of my 03 BMW 525d Sport Touring. Glass's says £15k (mileage adjusted and matching the condition parameters they specify), all dealers say £10k-£12.5k in part-ex. What's the point of paying for Glass's if it is so way off?

  Pretty much a novice when it comes to cars, but I have had an MG TF for over 4 years with 60k on the clock and am looking to upgrade to a bmw 318i SE. The monthly rates for contract hire are attractive, but is it really worth not having an asset to sell at the end of 3/4/5 years? Cheers

  How about cars that were axed prematurely by their makers and deserved a longer run. My vote goes for the BMW Z3. Even now they look prettier than the Z4 and don't look dated.

  I've seen a very nice 3 series tourer at a BMW dealer, for a very cheap price. It's got lots of options and looks a very attractive car. However, it's a 316se. Any comments on the engine size (1.9) and the 115bhp. Owners views would be appreciated.

  I see BMW are going to fit Peugeot engines in the next Mini which is to be launched in 2006. One questions how much further they are prepared to lower their technical integrity to achieve ever higher profit margins in order to appease their company accountants.
