Advice/help needed 3 Jul 2010 (Forum)
I am looking to buy a convertible, but I don't really know what make or model. I don't have a lot of money and have ruled out a new style Audi TT (which I was slightly upset about). I tend to prefer the newer styling of cars however that (obviously) makes them more expensive because they are newer... sorry this is a bit of a poor post! Does anyone have any advice or recommendations? -

LED Daytime Running lights. 22 Nov 2008 (Forum)
Please avoid stupid headlines like "I wondered how long it would be.." that give no hint of what your post is about. HJ.) ..before aftermarket kits like those on the Audi R8 became available. This morning I was followed by a Citroen C4 which had short LED strips along the bottom of the front bumper like those under the headlights of the R8. Looked completely naff. -
Why carn't I use foglights in daytime ? 11 Jun 2008 (Forum)
Provided they are correctly adjusted I don't believe they dazzle oncoming drivers. Any real difference from those daytime running lights on Audi's and others ? -
Michelin Pilot Sport 2 4 Jun 2008 (Forum)
Hi all, Just been asked to post on behalf of another colleague who has a Audi A6 Avant. Does any body have any real world experinces ot the above tyre? I think he mainly means wear reate vs price and grip? Reason he askes is that he has been quoted nearly £200 a tyre and is wondering if a cheaper brand (KUHMO) is more worthwhile? -
LED Headlights? 24 Apr 2008 (Forum)
Pictures of the updated A3 show it to have LED headlights as used on other Audi models. Do these offer any practical advantage, or are they another "bling" item? Look a bit naff, and only really suitable at Christmas time. Seems to be similar to the "white" tail-light craze of a few years back, which always looked like you'd had a rear shunt and put a temporary polythene cover over - fortunately they seemed to have been dropped by manufacturers now. -

labouring new diesel engines? 16 Jan 2007 (Forum)
Is this good? I've got a couple of mates with relatively new diesel cars (Audi A3 110 and 307 HDi). They both regularly drive 1000 - 1500 rpm in high gears which booms and makes the whole car shudder. Surely this is bad for the engine? But there's nothing in the user manual that says this is bad, it only tells you not to rev the thing too high for environmental reasons. -
VW chief in surprise resignation 8 Nov 2006 (Forum)
Volkswagen chief executive Bernd Pischetsrieder is to step down from his post at the end of the year. Martin Winterkorn, head of the German firm's Audi unit, will take over the post, the company said. Mr Pischetsrieder's decision to resign comes as Europe's biggest carmaker is in undergoing a tough restructuring drive that involves 20,000 job losses. -

What I need to know is, where do I get the T-bolts from (halford don't stock them), and will 4 T-bolts be enough to hold a large roof box? -

Depreciation cost 31 Aug 2004 (Forum)
My new Audi will be ready on 1st September when I trade in my 3 year old one. Ignoring costs of fuel, insurance, servicing, road fund licence (all more or less common to any car) and limiting my calculation only to depreciation and loss of interest on the £20k+ originally tied up, my car has cost me £269 per month.
