  There are a few for under £5,000, reasonable mileage. Are they really "refined" (i.e. quiet) or just tarted up with leather and wood? Did BMW oversee the whole thing, or just the engine?

  I know that PSA diesels have Particulate Filters and use EOLYS fluid as part of the chemical process. I see that BMW diesels also have particulate filters but do they also use EOLYS and, if not, how does the filter work without it, please?

  I run a BMW 530d, fitted with 18 inch rims and Dunlop Sport 245/40 run flat tyres. Any one had any experience of replacing these tyres? I'm looking for the lowest noise / best ride in spite of the tyres giving a hard ride.

  This may have been answered before, but why on the more expensive cars (audi, volvo, mercs and bmw's for example), are there no rear screen wipers? It cannot be due to cost, and one would have thought that the higher end cars would include bit/gadgets from those below.

  Can anyone please recommend a good radar detector. Cost is not the main issue, but it must be 100% reliable. I recently got my new car (BMW 320) and with already having some points I really need a bit of help dodging the cameras!
