Faltering Micra 13 May 2003 (Forum)
I own a 1993 Nissan Micra 1.0 with 66,000 miles on the clock which has recently started faltering slightly when accelerating (particularly in 2nd and 3rd gear). The engine has also begun idling unevenly. All hoses etc. seem okay but I have checked the HT leads and found that one of them has some oil at the end along with a small quantity of oil around the top of the spark plug at the base of the hole. -

Infiniti Q50 - Stick or twist? 18 Aug 2024 (Forum)
I think that, when I raised this with Infiniti before they left, they said that parts would be available through Nissan for 10 years - which would take me through to 2030 - but I'm not sure if this is true. I should be grateful for any views on the above. Thanks -

Cheap small 80s/90s Jap: Starlet, Micra, Sunny...? 25 Jul 2020 (Forum)
Recently I have been trying to get myself a small little Japanese car from the 90s or late 80s to enjoy retro fun. Having already done research, lots of recommendations go for the K11 Nissan Micra, especially as there's still an abundance of them around. But I've been thinking of getting something that is more rarer and discreet. The Nissan Sunny is definitely a very uncommon car nowadays. -

Routine servicing should pose no problems, but not sure how much hassle would be involved in doing so. https://pictures.topspeed.com/IMG/jpg/201206/2010-nissan-np200-3.jpg https://www.nissanec.co.za/wp-content/uploads/landing_page/2015/10/09/NP200.jpg -

So far I have "definitely" been about to buy (with reasons I haven't in brackets): Citroen Picasso (unreliable?) Mazda Premacy (NCAP 3*) Renault Scenic (unreliable?) Nissan Almera Tino (gut reaction, didn't like it when I met it) Then I started questioning whether we need an MPV and it was: Mazda 323 (safe? big enough?) Honda Civic (too small?) car salesmen - we've been here before 6 Jul 2003 (Forum)
I know there have been discussions here in the recent past about the level of service or attention received at car showrooms, and i'm just going to recount what happened to me this evening I am seriously thinking of changing my car and called at a Nissan dealers on the way home. I am (was ?) seriously considering buying a Nissan, and all I wanted to do was look at the stock on the forecourt There was an Almera saloon on the forecourt, but they are not badged with engine size, so I asked the man who was walking down the cars closing all the hatches and bonnets if it was a 1500 or an 1800 - he said I'm only the security man, do you want me to find out ?
