  Hi I have a Citroen C5 Exclusive with Xenon headlamps. After the lights have been on for a few minutes the nearside lamp will go out for a few seconds then relight. Once this starts it just keeps on going out and coming back on.

  Hi I loaded a new map to my Citroen Xantia lastnight, using a KWP2000 USB box but about halfway through, the power cut out in my house and on trying to reload the file I'm getting either the message ECU not found or ECU not kicking.

  I am looking to buy my daughter a small car which must be cheap and economical. The one I think suits her best is either the Toyota Aygo; Citroen C1 or Peugeot 107. I believe these cars are more or less identical and made in the same factory but just badged differently. Can someone please offer some advice as to which would be the most sound buy ?

  Looking for advice on immobiliser keypad on a Citroen ZX Elation deisel 1997 model I have no instructions books or anything with the car to refer to. I am having problems with the keypad immobiliser, when I type in the code the green light comes on ,but the red light also stays on and the car won't start so assume it is still 'immobilised'.

  Today I changed the battery of my neighbour's 97 1.4 Citroen ZX for her. Alas she lost the remote fob for it several years ago and when we connected up the battery the alarm armed itself for the fiirt time in years! The car still starts/drives but the alarm goes off when you open the door/bonnet/boot most embarrassingly.

  Afternoon all, Got my aging Citroen Saxo on the road this morning on the way to work, 5 mins from house, a loud rhythmic banging started. Didn't have a clue what it was of where it was coming from so got out and looked under the car and couldn't see anything out of place... got back in and carried on driving but was still happening so turned around and limped home in it...
• Citroen C3 - Refilling the Oil 15 Apr 2007 (Forum)
  I recently bought a Citroen C3, 2003, and all has been running fine. Went to top up the oil and on taking the cap off found that I couldn't. The reason being that underneath the cap, within the circumference below the cap, was a sort of up-side-down "T", which was quite chunky.

  On a more general point are parts like electrical connectios and wires the same in all peug and citroens??? i usually find reading reliability surveys that peug's do better than citroens but am curious as to why this may be if they use the same parts Cheers

  Ive got a Citroen C5 2.0HDI and basically im wondering if they are a good long term prospect. I have owned it from new and get the oil changed every 6k miles. My questions is very simple; do these engines last well, or are they a load of short lived complicated rubbish?

  Hi, I just bought a cheap and nasty '92 Citroen AX Echo 1.1 for £250. Engine sounds fine and runs clean and it has just passed its MOT so engine permitting I'm hoping not to need to do anything to it for a year. However, I have noticed the car has a rumble from the front left corner when travelling.

  Hi my picasso has no internal heat ....the matrix is cold, when the engine has been running for 15 mins i get the radiator cooling fans come on with two blips on the temp display gauge and then 2 mins later the dashbord display tells me to switch off because the engine is overtemp when all blips on the gauge are lit...at this point the top hose to the rad is solid and hot but the bottom is cold... i do not appear to be losing water i have been to a couple of citroen "experts" who have put their diagnostics on it and they tell me there is no electrical fault being logged.... any ideas guys ? gary

  I have a 1997 citroen ax which had the clutch replaced earlier this year. I could still feel resistance in the pedal, and it was getting harder to change gear so I brought it back to the mechanic, but he said it was ok.

  One year old Citroen C3 16v HDi. Had rear wheels off recently and noticed that there are damp marks from oil down the struts. Only place this could have come from is the dampers themselves. The dealer says they are fine and demonstrated the MOT 'bounce' test to me.

  Hi I have a citroen AX, which has recently had a new clutch fitted. I thought that this would have made the gear change a bit easier, but I'm still having difficulties. There is also a sort of creaking noise sometimes when I put my foot on the clutch which has me worried that the cable might break - which happened to me last August...

  After contacting Citroen for 2 days they eventually agreed to send someone to look at my car. The Guy informed me that the fault wasn’t down to Driver error and that he was going to advise the car be taking into Citroen and stripped to check why this unit had gone on fire.
