Run Flat tyres 28 Jan 2007 (Forum)

running in? 20 Mar 2003 (Forum)
Anyone read this http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm It goes against what owners manuals say and I don't know anyone who runs in (break in as they call it in the US) a new engine by driving it hard. Surely, allowing an engine to bed down gradually is the secret to longevity and reduced oil consumption? Comments? -

Ford Focus (1998 - 2004) - 01 1.6 Lumpy running then EML. 8 Oct 2009 (Forum)
This morning I've checked battery OC voltage 12.5V and SG, cells 1-5 12.70, 6 12.50 (still the orignal battery). Took plugs out seemed OK other than white centre insulator (running too hot?). Started engine, again running not quite right. Alternator output 20A falling to 15A after 5 minutes, voltage 14.5V. Switched Air con on, fan running, alternator output 43A. Noticed that the EML was now illuminated. -
206 1,4 hdi - electrical fault, possibly engine run signal 23 Dec 2015 (Forum)
On this box is the heater blower fuse and relay and when the fault is occurring I have a power to the relay but do not have an earth! I am guessing that it's either the engine running signal or something after that but I can not find out where the system gets its signal from for engine running to power all these components up and where it goes after. Anyone help please -

Does running your tank on empty cause problems ? 24 Jul 2008 (Forum)
One of the economy tips given recently is keeping your tank low on fuel to save weight. I was telling someone this, and he recounted that famous motoring old wives tale that "running your tank on empty brings the muck out of the bottom of the fuel tank". Whilst I've heard it repeated many times over the years I've never believed it. As a teenager my tank was always run on dregs, fuel going in £5 (or less) at a time. -
Omega 3.0 - running hot 18 Apr 2007 (Forum)
How often should the cooling fans be running on a manual 3.0 Omega? The fans seem to be on quite a lot. E.g. If driving along at a steady 30 or 40mph and you come to a stop the 3 fans are quite likely to be running and sometimes they're running at high speed. -
Peugeot 406 hdi(90) running problems 27 Nov 2006 (Forum)
I have enjoyed months of happy motoring in my 93000 mile pug 406 diesel, that is, until recently.(2001 Y reg) It is running very rough, very noticeable from cold, and in general lacks power and runs very lumpy (almost like a misfire) My local peugeot dealer plugged it in and said there was nothing wrong with it, so i took it to one of these delphi diesel centres. -
Engine starts but not run 22 Oct 2002 (Forum)
Every morning & first start of the day, the engine will start straight away but will stall straight away. I need to hold the throttle down to keep it running for about 2-3 seconds before the engine can idle on its own. Subsequent starting are all fine and the engine runs smoothly at all other times. Could the problem be the injector cleaners or my engine? -

Peugeot 307 (2001 - 2007) - 2001 2.0HDi - running problem 31 Dec 2008 (Forum)
Hi My 307 HDI 2.0 90 has an Anti-Pollution fault on screen but not always, it won't start sometimes and runs but kangeroos down the road and cuts out. Looking at the clear fuel pipe after the filter it runs with a lot of air in the pipe. If I pump the primer bulb it clears the air but as soon as I stop it comes back Any ideas on probable cause? -

Rear daytime running lights 31 Jul 2023 (Forum)
Not sure whether this has been discussed before but why are rear daytime running not required by law? How many newish cars do you see without any rear lights on in attrocious driving conditions. Seems like a no brainer to me but there is obviously a reason.
