• Nissan QX - High emission and stalling 16 Feb 2005 (Forum)
  It was not very nice to have no power-assistance to the brakes and steering when exiting motorway. Nissan say they will charge £84 + VAT so I'll wait and see how it goes. Does that sounds right? Any other ideas before I let Nissan loose on my car? Sorry for such a late post. Many thanks, Gazza

  the drivers side window on my nissan drops into the door bottom when it is wound down. i assume it has come out of its cradle ,are there any tips to prevent reoccurence?

  I purchased a New Nissan Note in March 2013 from Glyn Hopkin Ltd, Romford, a main local Nissan Dealer. It was soon noticed that it pulled to the left quite badly. We notified the dealer of this problem within 2 weeks of taking delivery and it was 27 days before they were able to have the car back for checks.

  I have a Nissan Pathfinder with a broken crank shaft. The vehicle is a 57 plate with 51000 miles on the clock, auto box. I am the second owner having bought it  three years ago.   The vehicle has had all its services carried out by Nissan main dealers and the service book is stamped for each, together with the workshop check lists and receipts etc.

  This follows on from my pain dealer servicing debacle ... I've been reading up on Nissans - especially the Almera which I own and it seems there is a problem with the timing chains on these cars - and that can include the Primera & Micra. The chain can become stretched & require an expensive (and some !)

  I came across this article - 25 most unreliable new cars https://www.whatcar.com/news/25-most-unreliable-new-cars/n17550 I was thinking about a  Nissan Qashqai. I was surprised to see in the bottom 25. Does anyone know why that could be?.  The Nissan X-trail and Nissan Note are there. Nissan have improved the style and design of their cars, but the reliability does not seem to be so great?

  I own a Nissan Sylvia auto coupe (1985). I do not have a handbook for it. All I need is the recommended tyre pressures but can not find them anywhere. I have even traced and downloaded a scanned copy of the original Nissan technical manual but it does not list tyre pressures!

  i am considering buying a 2011 Nissan Qashqai Tekna 2.0 petrol automatic. the listing says that the car has " a seamless japanese auto box".  what gearbox would this be?  were there any problems with this box?
