I own a Nissan Sylvia auto coupe (1985). I do not have a handbook for it.
All I need is the recommended tyre pressures but can not find them anywhere. I have even traced and downloaded a scanned copy of the original Nissan technical manual but it does not list tyre pressures! I know the torque settings for every nut on the car but not the **** tyre pressures!
Can anyone help me?

Thommo,
This may give you a good starting point

Well, according to my extensive library of Nissan technical data it should be as follows:
6x15 wheel rim. 195/60R15V tyre at 29psi, front and rear.

IIRC its 32 psi on fronts. 30 psi on rears. not certain of fully laden weight/pressure. long time since doing one?.As i racall its about right unladen.

Would check out local tyre fitter. As most give tyre pressure details for most cars.Including tyre size ect`. Just a thought?

Thanks for the Dunlop website, never thought of them.

Thommo, Here's another site to try:- www.thetyrepressuremonitor.com/index.asp
Take care - some of those are *definitely* wrong - I'm looking at the Nissan ones and comparing with my factory manuals.

Does the car not have a tyre pressure sticker on the inner door pillar (usually passenger side) or in glove box? Thats where they usually are.

29/29 seems definitive and perhaps more importantly seems fine on the car.
Thanks all.
