  I'm looking at buying a renault scenic but the seller say's it's just started to drip coolant somewhere near the bottom hose where it meets the water pump. Is this a big job to sort ? and what would I need to sort it ?

  What is a camshaft defuser? Friend has just had this replaced by Renault out of warranty due to low mileage (would have been £660). I can only guess its what I would call a variator or tensioner.

  After braking, there appears to be an air leak from behind brake pedal causing an annoying squeeking noise. Renault Scenis 1.9 DCI.

  Thinking of getting one for the misses, low mileage as are most of them but have never driven or known anywone who owns one. All I have in my mind is that older Renault autos can be rather tragic - anyone with direct experience?

  I have a 1999 Renault Clio 1.4. The car starts fine but when I push in the clutch to change gear with the engine hot or cold the revs drop to about 100 then quickly recovers to 5-600. The engine does not cut out. Any bright ideas

  Does anyone know how I might go about replacing a lost transponder key for a Renault Clio (2003)? I have one but have lost the other. Does it mean a trip to the dealers for a lock change, or can a key be cut and a transponder bought and reprogrammed somehow? Regards Richard

  Does anyone know where I can buy a Coolant Temperature Sensor for a K reg Renault Clio online or by mail order. Also do you know where abouts in the engine compartment it is. A Part Number would be nice too. p.s. I live in the Leeds area.

  I am soon to be moving to the middle of nowhere and am considering producing my own bio fuel through veg oil etc. I have a renault clio DCi 65, anyone know if there are any problems with conversion of the car? Any advice would be appreciated.

  Hi there, I'm looking for advice regarding "superchipping" my Renault Trafic 1.9 DCI 100PS. Will it improve my van's performance with regards to fuel economy and increased BHP??? Are there any downsides to ECU remapping?? And who would you recommmend to do this?? Look forward to any replies!!!

  i have a renault laguna 2.0 rxe 1995. i was driving home today i come to a corner dropped down gear from 3rd to 2nd when i lifted the clutch there was no drive at all so put it into first still no drive managed to get it towed home what would be the problem?

  I have a 1993 renault 21 savanna with worn hinge pins any advice with removing them.Renault have supplied new pins which screw in and say they are the only ones listed but the pins fitted seem to be only a push fit and any attempt made at knocking them out only seems to bend the end.

  Hi All First post here so bear with me please. We have a Renault Laguna dti estate which had to be towed home by the AA the other day. Turns out the timing belt had gone, but after some serious discussion with Renault and the Renault garage involved, it was agreed that Renault would cover the cost of replacement since the garage had put on a new belt during servicing 2 years ago.
