Goodwood Festival of Speed: Toyota to race Le Mans cars 5 Jul 2013 (News)

Martin Brundle and Emanuel Collard will be rolling back the years behind the wheel of the GT-One they raced at Le Mans in 1998 and 1999, while current Toyota Racing team-mates Anthony Davidson and Alex Wurz will take turns driving the TS010 that competed in the world famous 24-hour challenge in 1992 and 1993. CMC to restore 'barn find' flat-floor E-type 3 May 2013 (News)
This car was the 60th to leave the production line, and is one of the earliest 3.8-litre right hand drive E-types left. The car, which was unrestored with 65,000 miles on the clock is thought to be one of the most original examples of its kinf left. These early E-types were labelled 'flat floor' due to the lack of a dropped floor area that increased the leg room and was added in subsequent cars. -
Ford unveils new 1.5-litre Ecoboost engine 16 Apr 2013 (News)
The new aluminium-block, twin-cam 1.5-litre EcoBoost engine will feature some of the innovations introduced on the 1.0-litre EcoBoost, such as an integrated exhaust manifold. It also gets a computer-controlled clutch on the belt-drive water pump, and a water-cooled charge air cooler is added to offer a more efficient feed of air into the engine. The new engine is expected to provide similar horsepower and torque performance to Ford’s current 1.6-litre EcoBoost, while delivering improved fuel economy and lower CO2 emissions. -
