Does anyone know who makes the automatic transmission used in the Mazda 3? I know the Mazda 6 uses a Ford box and by all accounts it is not a good transmission at all. Does the 3 use the same box? If so it is probably something I should avoid. -

Anyone EVER seen a Mazda Premacy 13 Oct 2004 (Forum)
It sounds like what I'm after (small MPV, cheap, reliable, safe-ish), but I've been watching out for a week or so and I've not seen one. In fact, the only Mazda was an old MX5! Are Mazda's just thatrare? How come, when they are so reliable. Is there a downside to buying something so unusual? -

Hi all, My wife is after a Mazda 3 04/05 model, but I am a bit paranoid about the expensive ECU fault that is showing-up on these cars.
