Anyone EVER seen a Mazda Premacy - patp
It sounds like what I'm after (small MPV, cheap, reliable, safe-ish), but I've been watching out for a week or so and I've not seen one. In fact, the only Mazda was an old MX5! Are Mazda's just thatrare? How come, when they are so reliable. Is there a downside to buying something so unusual?

Seen quite a few. Generally reliable, not exciting to drive and the European equivalent models are more versatile, but it depends what you want.

Espada III - well if you have a family and need a Lamborghini, what else do you drive?

Mates dad has one. 55k on the clock and on its second clutch. Leads me wonder what his gear changing is like

Yeah, seen a few premacys. Mazda are a firm in their ascendancy, the Mazda 6 reinvented them, as its a good looking car thats a good drive. You must have seen a 6 lately!

Buy one and then you'll be falling over them. Happened to me with every car I've bought. Never noticed the particular make until I bought one, then they passed me regularly. No-one else noticed?

You lot must live in a different universe! I keep looking for Mazdas in the middle of London, saw an ancient 323 today, that's it!

One lives just up the road, and looks very well apart from the dark windows which produce a certain suggestion of hearse. I once saw it being towed away by a breakdown recovery truck. I did not like to ask!

Mother-in-law bought a new Premecy TD 3 years ago and is delighted with it. The car is practical, economical, easy to drive and offers easy access for her creaking joints. Moreover, it has been 100% fault free. No glitches, no failures, no breakdowns, nothing.

After a series of shockingly shoddy and unreliable BL products, bought out of what she now admits was misguided patriotism, this has been a complete revelation.

If you don't need 7 seats, if image and status are not relevant but reliability is, my mother-in-law recommends the Premecy.

I've seen as many Premacys as I've seen Mazda 3s, and that's not very many. I've probably seen more Signums that those (but that's probably because I drive past the Vauxhall plant at Ellesmere Port twice a day).
