Overall reliability
Reliable and sturdy.
Have had this car for 7 years and no problems, except that the previous owner had a disability and did not use the clutch pedal properly. This resulted that this car, by 24000 needed a new clutch. VW paid part of it but I still had to pay £1200 towards the new clutch ! Had rear parking sensors installed (£140 + vat), excellent initiative. Only drawback is that from October onwards I will have to pay £12.50 every time I enter low emission zone.
