Great idea poorly executed

Pros: It gave us just the package we were looking for in terms of space, accessibility, high driving position out of oncoming headlamp glare, low parking footprint.
Cons: Unreliable systems. The engine cuts out in motion at junctions or in heavy traffic for no reason and must be restarted manually. This is contrary to rule 122 in the Highway Code and the user manual, and gets exciting when the truck behind you hasn't noticed you're coasting. The speed limit warning displays speeds limits which don't exist on the UK road network. The wipers activate randomly in dry weather wearing out the blades and cannot be cancelled.
Would we recommend it to a friend? No
Would we buy another? No and it's unlikely we'd buy another VW either since the same teams will be responsible for the electrical design and software.
