It was originally a demonstrator vehicle with 9,000 miles on the clock; it has since covered 145,000 miles. The car still drives just as well as it did on day one. It is the most reliable and fuel-efficient vehicle among the many we have owned over the past 40-plus years. Its inspection history is impeccable, and—aside from the brake dust shields coming loose at 120,000 miles—no repairs beyond routine maintenance have been required. The vehicle is very spacious and practical, offering plenty of rear legroom and an expandable trunk. It is simply a shame that production was discontinued in 2020. Although we considered trading our car in for a newer model, we decided to keep it, as it remains in excellent condition all around. The only drawback is that the seatbelt position is a bit high for shorter drivers. We wouldn't hesitate to buy a good used example with a reliable service history. The title says it all: the best car we've ever owned.
