2.0 TSI 220ps Laurin+Klement DSG 5dr

The most comfortable, most spacious, best equipped and best value car I've owned.

Purchased from Skoda dealer at six months old with just 1300 miles on the clock and saved £8k on list. Mileage now 43k. Suspension is excellent and gives a soft absorbent ride. Truly limo-like. I usually select Eco mode but a sportier ride and response is available at the touch of a button. Been on several trips to Spain with another couple and it is effortless to drive and comfy for passengers. Boot is enormous - we take masses of stuff and there is still room for all our cheap wine on the ferry home. Original tyres lasted over 30k miles but I have had to buy new brake discs. Otherwise cheap to run with just over 40mpg average. The one and only downside, having previously had two Diesel BMW 5 Series, is that the Skoda brand has absolutely no snob appeal!
