Very comfortable enjoyable and practical
I traded in my Audi A3 2.0 TDI dsg auto for this car. I was worried I might miss the Audi's grunt - but I don't The Scala feels lighter than the Audi - but is zippy and so much more comfortable. Build quality is fine - materials may be not quite to Audi standards - but I find the driving position and seats far superior in this Skoda - I'm very pleased. It is a very quiet and has a wonderfully smooth and supple ride - the engineers have found the sweet spot between comfort and dynamic handling. No, it's not a sports car - but it is very enjoyable to drive - far more so than my partner's Golf. The rear and boot are very spacious. Regularly get over 55mpg - altogether an exceptional car.
