Much, much better than the sum of it's parts

I have previously owned a Fiat Doblo and a Citroen Berlingo, but the Roomster beats them hands down. The Fiat was a brilliant concept, but everything fell apart at 50,000 miles - even the drivers door fell off! The Citroen rode well and had space, but did not handle very well and had brakes that were OK for slowing down, but iffy for stopping. The Roomster is built well, handles brilliantly, and passengers prefer it. We have the version with the large galss roof, and it makes the vehicle fabulously light and airy. On a run up here in the North of Scotland, I regularly beat 60 mpg (or 55 with the air con switched on), and that is sitting at the national speed limit. Great sound system too! If like me you have the optional 16" wheels, choose your tyres carefully. It came with Nexen N6000's fitted, and they were harsh, and didn't like the wet. Moved over to Michelin and the difference is marked - you get what you pay for, as always.

I would buy another one when it needs replacing, but at the moment that seems a long way off - I reckon it will still be a good 'un at 150,000 miles!
