Overall reliability
A good reliable vehicle, The estate is great loads of headroom and plenty of room for anyone who is 6ft plus.
I have had my Octavia Estate 1.6 Diesel DSG 3 Years and it has been brilliant.
Carrying my wife's electric buggy in the boot at 1 metre long the buggy fits nicely longwuse in the boot,leaving stacks of room for our cases.
Only problem is that there is no spare.The only problems I have had are 2new key fob batteries plus two door trim seals that have perished in two years the Skoda rep said it was either or the seat belt rubbing against it.This is a load of r****** as I have never come across this in50 years of driving.
Fuel consumption on Motorways is up around the mid to late fifties,and on one occasion 62mpg,.
Around town mid to late 30's
Overall a good reliable car bulletproof engine if kept well serviced as per book.
