Love it except for paintwork...

I’m really loving owning this car. Most of my journeys are short, so I only visit the fuel station twice a year. I actually get over 500mpg from it. It’s comfortable and powerful when needed. The sat Nav isn’t the best, the buttons are small and fiddly.
Large boot is handy also.
I made the mistake of buying a black one (and I’ve had many black cars over the years that haven’t marked like this) which I regret. The paint is so thin there are several marks down to the white undercoat, even after I had it treated with ‘Safeguard’ as recommended by the dealership. Why I should pay an extra £500 for paint on the car, then another £300 for Safeguard I know not. As the Safeguard has done nothing to prevent damaged paint.
It’s supposed to be a 4 x 4, yet just being touched by a light bush on a narrow country lane has damaged the paintwork.
I like to keep my cars pristine, and it’s impossible with this vehicle.
Apart from paint and sat Nav I’m very pleased with it.
