Overall reliability

Smooth, well built, good looking and comfortable

The car looks good especially in its 'soul red' paint work. It is smart both inside and out. It is confortable with supportive seating and a well balanced handling and ride set up. It feels roomy inside if slightly costraphobic in the rear because of small rear windows but still roomy. Boot space is well designed and sufficient. On the move noise levels are well suppressed and it feels like a premium car and a nice place to be. Fuel economy is exceptional for a two litre petrol and is improving with mileage (now 5000)- overall I am getting 46.8 mpg but on any sort of longish run it records over 50 mpg even well loaded (4 people). It is not a hot hatch but never seems short of acceleration and power giving the driver confidence in all situations. There is plenty of kit as standard apart from reversing sensors which I have had fitted - these are almost essential because rear view is restricted by the small rear side windows. The front scteen and the A-pllars are relatively close to the driver and care is needed to make sure you see cars coming from the right, although you soon get used to the set up. This SE model could also benefit from more powerful headlights.
