Good car apart from slightly harsh ride

I have this car on lease for my other half. My main car is company issued Prius. I think I am in a good position to review this car. Overall the engine is plenty powerful with sporty DCT mode, which would turn this car into a sporty hybrid complete with its own sporty note coming from the engine (no I am not dreaming). I was often amazed how quick this car picked up speed with little effort compared to Gen 3 or Gen 4 Prius, even in eco mode. The radio, sat nav and phone connectivity works brilliantly, better than Prius. The adaptive control is better than Prius, lane assist is way better than Prius. In another words, this car is technologically league ahead of Prius. I do have the following reservations; rear leg room and head room aren't the best, handling is not as good as Prius and the ride in Ioniq is no where near as good as the relaxing Prius. Ioniq excels in motorway driving and Prius is better for town driving. Because my commute is through back roads and villages, I much prefer my Prius, which is more refined but for longer journey Ioniq is much more fun. But I do miss my Prius after having been in Ioniq all day, mostly because of the refinement Prius could offer...The lease on this Ioniq is ending and we won't be getting another one partly due to the lack of refinement and harsh ride.
