Bought the car when just under three years old and have maintained the dealer warranty to this day. Good job. I would thoroughly recommend this car to anyone needing a bit more space and practicality whilst desiring some serious performance (0-100 in 11s regularly). Onto that warranty...If you decide to treat yourself to one of these make sure it has the factory warranty still in place. I have suffered from all the usual problems with the N54 six. Turbo's, fuel and water pumps have all been replaced. Check for rattling waste gates on cold start. If present walk away.
These jobs were all done within six months and the car has now blasted through 120k with no other issues apart from a replaced mechatronics module on the gearbox. I also swapped the tyres at the first opportunity to non run flats, this is a good idea as it improves the ride and steering feel in particular. Find a good one, find a quiet tunnel and bury your right foot. You will see the light....
