Brilliant handling... could do with a bit more oomph!

I chose this car as it was cheap on company car tax primarily but absolutely fell in love with how it drives immediately. The car is really well planted and gives great feedback. The biggest let down was my budget so had to go for the cheaper 1.8d.. a few more hp would make this car perfect. Having said that it is pretty torquey at lower speeds and can comfortably cruise at 90+ mph. Driving position is extremely adjustable and the sports seats hold you nicely. The extra leg extension is essential for me (6'4") but means I don't have to have the seat fully back which is very rare in the driving seat.

The main negatives are that the boot isn't the biggest and the rear seats don't offer a great deal of leg room.

I've had it for over 3 years and done ~70k miles without any faults. BMW service have been brilliant (they ought to be as they aren't cheap but can't fault the service you get).
