A car with a Category N marker can be more expensive to insure, but it depends a great deal on the individual insurer as some may not calculate a Cat N car as being higher risk. We would suggest shopping around for quotes to get the best deal using price comparison sites and also searching for insurers that specialise in previously written-off vehicles.
