KIA Sorento - Kia Sorento 2015 automatic transmission problem 5 Dec 2019 (Forum)
I went to a Kia dealer to test drive a used automatic Kia Sorento KX-3, 2015. When I tried to shift the gear lever from Parking to Drive I couldn’t, it just wouldn't move. The sales person tried as well and couldn’t. Then a mechanic came and opened a little flap that covered a tiny hole next to the gear lever. -

Advice needed please 29 Mar 2007 (Forum)
On inspection, I found that the 4 doors needed replacing due to the well know corrosion problem that many early mk3's had. I agreed with the dealer that I would take the car and put a deposit down on the 18th March (my understanding was that this would take the car off sale). I contacted my local ford dealer the same day and they took pics of all the doors and asked ford uk to authorise replacement of all the doors. -

A few days in China, cars, pollution, perspective 26 Mar 2008 (Forum)
Really enjoyed just piling into the back of those Toyota Crown Taxis (not driving for once) that are running on LPG. There`s a small mountain to climb between the airport and hotel, near the ferry terminal at the other side of the island and the screaming max revs in second gear (obviously the norm) made me wonder how the engine survived one trip, when it had been doing this route for years. -

Ford Focus Zetec - ECU failure not covered by warranty 21 Mar 2018 (Forum)
The car’s engine started misfiring again in November, and Stewart suggested taking it to Ford in Guildford for a full diagnostic test. The car was taken in to them on November 23rd 2017 (mileage on the clock at that time was 31,440). On December 7th Ford finally informed us that they were unable to diagnose the problem without it costing a further £627.98 (£400 to flush the cooling system of oil residue – which Stewart had already done whilst replacing the engine(s)) and £227.98 for performing diagnostics for an injector or PCM problem).
