  Lately though, we are having lots and lots of issues with electrical systems. Engine failure warnings, airbag check warnings, max temp warnings, power steering failures... I changed the battery as it was struggling to start with all this going on. This made no difference and even with a brand new battery it sometimes doesnt start.

  I've seen a repair kit on ebay or you can but a new complete mechanism but its quite expensive ( not real new ford of course! ). It F/S drivers. Anyone know of a step by step of fitting these? Does the glass need to come out? can you just replace the regulator in situ? Any instructions/you tube for this ( the ones I found were not great )   Cheers guys.

  The cost is well in excess of £10K as it needed the chassis to be realigned, a new near side front passenger door, two new near side wheel and tyres and various minor scratches and dents removed. That also included the hire of an equivalent vehicle (Cayenne S) whilst theirs was off the road. And the culprit? - A Ford KA All because he wasn't looking when he pulled out of junction. The repairs were well over twice, (probably nearer three times) the value of his car.

  I haven't studied Peugeot very much before and I'm struggling with which Peugeot designs of the past REALLY stand out. It's easy to do this with the Mini or the Ford T-Bird because it's easy to see what made them great - I can't see the point in designing something and nobody knowing what it is!   I own a Fiesta Zetec S which is 2 months old and has now covered 1500 miles. When the clutch is not depressed the engine is noisy, however when the clutch is depressed the engine noise is minimal. During the 1500 mile complimentary check I mentioned this fault to the mechanc.
