Hi Guys,  Had this C-max around a month or so now, and it's been absolutely fine to drive. A few small issues sorted out by my local garage, but nothing out of the ordinary for a car of this age.    Some background - it has a full service history, two female owners, with 90k on the clock.

  • C-Max coolant level 22 Jul 2007 (Forum)
I've just been topping up the window washer fluid in my C-Max and noticed the coolant in the expansion tank is below the min level. My drive slopes somewhat, so I'm going to move the car to a flat area to double-check, but it's certainly nowhere near the max level.

  • Ford Focus - Ticking noise from tyre 17 Oct 2021 (Forum)
Hi there, I have a 2015 Focus and recently noticed a slight "ticking" noise from the front right tyre whilst driving. It is very faint and doesn't always manifest itself, especially at higher speeds. I thought it may be a stone or nail in the tyre but after thoroughly checking, this was not the case.
  • Ford Mondeo III - excellent pc based ford diag system for tdcis 27 Mar 2010 (Forum)

  • Fiesta 1.25 16V Zetec S Cambelt Change 6 Jun 2007 (Forum)
Hi, I would really appreicate some advice on the following: SWMBO has a 2001 Fiesta Freestyle with a 1.25 16V Zetec S engine. It has covered 24,000 miles from new, we have owned it since it was 6 months old. A local mobile mechanic has serviced it very well, annually for the past 3 years. He and my local Ford dealer are adamant that the cambelt only needs changing at 100,000 miles or 10 years.

  • Ford Europe Update 16 Apr 2019 (Forum)
Cmax and grand Cmax - no more factory orders, Very little UK stock available. He is hoping Ford will offer a good finance offer on the Tourneo Connect and Tourneo Grand Connect to compensate for the loss of the models as they still get a lot of family buyers wanting a spacious car. Galaxy and S-Max - says they still sell a few but mainly to fleet and private buyers , rare to sell one on finance.
  • Honda Civic 2017 - My rights? - Engine failure 15 Jan 2024 (Forum)
I bought it from a Car Supermarket 4 months ago and have done 3k in it. No warranty Reading the consumer rights act 2015 it seems I could have some recourse with the Car S and expect that they repair it as its within 6 months of buying it. It appears its not a wear and tear type issue for a timing chain to break at 45k.

  • Ford Mondeo III (2000 - 2007) - Is it worth Servicing at a garage? 5 Aug 2009 (Forum)
The mondeo is now due for a service and I cannot decide whether it's worth doing it at a garage to keep up with the service history _or_ whether I should do the servicing myself from now on. As the car is probably worth £2,500 - £3,000 max. Is there any benefit for me to keep up with the service history? If it is worth it, when is a good time to start servicing it myself? what factors should I consider? how much value does a car lose with limited service history?
