Snap decision

My wife has severe osteoporosis and is now unable to drive. To help my wife's quality of life we require a vehicle that is easy to enter and most importantly has a soft, comfortable ride to overcome this country’s rough, pothole-ridden roads. Perhaps there are ride modifications, such as air suspension, available on certain vehicles?

The Suzuki Splash and bigger Nissan Note are very easy to get in and out of.

To get the best ride quality you need to go for the smallest wheels and deepest profile tyres available. The current model Ford C-Max is also very easy to enter and leave. Same rules apply over wheels and tyres. The best ride I have experienced in a modern hatchback was in a new Vauxhall Astra:
