How to buy a classic car (Article)
Click here to see how much it could cost you Ford Anglia 105E Launched in 1959 and enjoying an eight-year career, the 105E was one of the most distinctive Fords of the ’60s. The initial 997cc Standard and Deluxe models were joined by the 1198cc Super, as well as estate and van versions, giving Ford an extensive range and sales of almost 1.3 million. -
Review: Fitbit Alta HR (productReview)
width=245&height=434&mode=max" alt="" data-udi="umb://media/59c98b96c2da4759821c97ac94c77d7a" /> And that moves us swiftly onto our next point, the Alta HR is sweatproof but not waterproof — so you can't wear it in the shower or the pool. The Alta HR doesn't include the Charge 3's dedicated workout modes, guided breathing or Connected GPS either. However, the Alta HR does a decent job of recognising your type of exercise on its own. Occasionally it will categorise incorrectly, i.e. when we were jogging it thought we were doing 'Sport'. -

Review: FenSens Smart Wireless Parking Sensor (productReview)
But it took us about an hour and a half, a range of tools and the removal of the plastic interior boot panel of our Ford Fiesta to remove the two final screws to actually reattach our reg plate. It was a faff we didn't expect at all, and one that soured our opinion a bit. Should I buy one? -
Top 10: Gifts for over £150 (Article)
Available at several UK circuits, you get the options of an Aston Martin, Audi R8, BMW I8, Porsche 911, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Nissan GTR, Jaguar F-Type, Nissan Skyline, Chevrolet Camaro SS, Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, Mustang GT V8, Ford GT 40, Dodge Charger and more. The best part is that this is also currently massively discounted from £209 to £149. So, it isn't quite £150 right now, but it's too good not to include. -

Dash cam buying advice guide (Article)
width=500&height=333.33333333333337" alt="" data-udi="umb://media/4cb5dfdcac714b32a63a8ac2bc3ef1c4" /> We like the C330's diminutive dimensions - it will easily hide behind your car’s rear view mirror - but it can feel slightly dated compared to the competition. That said, the footage is good quality and it comes with GPS too - so it'll alert you about upcoming safety cameras while you drive. -
Review: Maxi-Cosi AxissFix (productReview)
We tested the AxissFix in a variety of cars from estates like the Audi A4 Avant to hatchbacks like the Citroen C4. In our pictures we're using a people carrier - the Ford Tourneo Courier. While the top tether can be fiddly, the Isofix arms click into place easily and have simple adjusters for extending them if needed, although the buttons do feel a little flimsy.

Classic Car Finance explained (Article)
Whatever option you decide on, make sure you've properly assessed your income and expenditure to make sure you can keep up with the monthly repayments. A personal loan So you fancy a £5k Ford Cortina rather than a £5m Ferrari? One of the options open to you here is to take a personal loan from one of the many providers available (most of whom provide a finance calculator). Make sure you've got your finances sorted though and that you can afford the monthly repayments. One of the big advantages of going for a personal loan is that you can shop around – and that's the first thing you should do. -
Cheap classic car insurance (Article)
Also request their insurance details If possible, photograph your van and the vehicle(s) involved in the accident. Take as many photos as possible with the vehicles in situ, do not move the vehicles if you can help it. When taking pictures, stand back to give a perspective of road layout and distance relative to both vehicles. -
Cheap Van & Pick-Up GAP Insurance (Article)
As a further protection from any suggestion that a vehicle price can be impacted by whether or not you accept GAP insurance at the same time, a rule was introduced by the Financial Conduct Authority in 2015. This states that the dealership is not allowed to sell GAP insurance at the same time as the van, and must leave at least two days between agreeing a purchase price and the sale of GAP. Since its introduction, the FCA says the number of buyers shopping around has doubled and sales of GAP has fallen by up to 23 percent - suggesting fewer buyers feel they need it. -
SPEEDING DEFENCES 1. Is inadequate posting of a speed limit a valid defence to a speeding NIP? (FAQs)
Referring to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, s. 85 (below), Walker J held that this imposed (at the least) a requirement that, at the geographical point where the motorist exceeded the limit, the signs could reasonably have been expected to have conveyed the limit to an approaching motorist in sufficient time for him to reduce from a previous lawful speed to a speed within the new limit. -
CREDIT HIRE: What is it and how can it affect me if I am involved in a crash? (FAQs)
If all goes well the payment for the hire should be recovered directly by the credit hire company from the insurer of the at-fault driver(s). In some circumstances you could be liable for any charges made under the agreement that they cannot recover. A "courtesy car" may be provided while your car is repaired and may be funded by your insurance policy or by agreement with the third party insurer. -
How to sell a classic car (Article)
Make sure it’s the real deal From a Toyota MR2 pretending to be a Ferrari to a non-Lotus 'Lotus' Ford Cortina, if there’s money to be made then con-men will find a way to try and make it. Beware the ‘barn find’ The huge popularity of barn finds mean that ‘fake’ cars can now be ‘discovered’ conveniently in a bad state of repair and with no paperwork. -
How to buy a used camper van (Article)
If you bought your van from a dealer, whether that was a franchised or independent outlet, you’re covered by the Consumer Rights Act 2015. This states that goods must be ‘of a satisfactory quality’, ‘fit for purpose’ and ‘as described’. With a used van, this means it must be in a satisfactory quality for its age and mileage. -
