The event, which goes from strength to strength every year, raised £3730 for Willen Hospice. This 1938 ERA 'GP1' E type race car was the judges' favourite.

  Nissan introduces five year standard warranty 2 Sep 2015 (News)
  The new warranty covers the engine, battery, paintwork and also Nissan Genuine accessories. It should give the Nissan range more appeal compared to rivals. For example, the Ford Transit range comes with a three-year 100,000 mile warranty. On top of that the warranty and roadside assistance cover are transferable to subsequent owners - a good selling point on the used van market.

  New TV series The Classic Car Show hits screens on Thursday 3 Feb 2015 (News)
  The first hour-long episode of The Classic Car Show will be shown on Channel 5 at 7pm on Thursday, 5 February.   Volkswagen unveils Amarok Canyon 27 Jan 2014 (News)

  Sainsbury’s has launched a new fuel promotion that entitles customers to claim 10p off every litre of fuel when they spend £60 or more in store. The promotion represents huge savings, with a typical Ford Focus owner standing to save more than £5 when filling up. The deal is valid from 25 – 31 July and each coupon will be valid for 14 days. Customers will need to show the voucher at their nearest participating Sainsbury’s fuel station to redeem the 10p litre and the promotion is limited to 100 litres per single transaction.

EurotaxGlass's pointed out the Toyota Aygo, Peugeot 107 and Ford Ka are the slowest depreciating models in the UK - typically hanging onto 49.5 per cent of their original price tag after 36,000 miles and three years.   Auction of Classic Car Hulks in April 13 Mar 2009 (News)

  Europeans 'reluctant to buy new cars' 17 Feb 2009 (News)
  Figures from the group showed year-on-year sales fell by 26 per cent. Volkswagen topped the new registrations chart, followed by Ford, Peugeot and Vauxhall. However, all of the manufacturers in the top ten posted worse results than in the same month last year. Jaguar, in the other hand, recorded a 35.5 per cent growth in the number of vehicles shifted.
