The event, which goes from strength to strength every year, raised £3730 for Willen Hospice. This 1938 ERA 'GP1' E type race car was the judges' favourite.

    The new warranty covers the engine, battery, paintwork and also Nissan Genuine accessories. It should give the Nissan range more appeal compared to rivals. For example, the Ford Transit range comes with a three-year 100,000 mile warranty. On top of that the warranty and roadside assistance cover are transferable to subsequent owners - a good selling point on the used van market.

    Sainsbury’s has launched a new fuel promotion that entitles customers to claim 10p off every litre of fuel when they spend £60 or more in store.     Figures from the group showed year-on-year sales fell by 26 per cent. Volkswagen topped the new registrations chart, followed by Ford, Peugeot and Vauxhall.
