  Engines available from launch will be 3-cylinder 1.2 12v with 65bhp, 4-cylinder 1.4 16v with 74bhp, 4-cylinder 1.9 SDI with 65bhp, 3-cylinder 1.4 TDI PD with 75bhp or 4-cylinder 1.9 TDI PD with 100bhp. Trim specs are designated E, S, S a/c, SE and Sport. All models have power steering, ABS, twin front and twin side airbags, a three year warranty and a twelve year no perforation warranty. Many options are available, enabling buyers to have their new Polo built to their specification.

  Nissan: New minicar much bigger than it appears 2 Dec 2009 (News)
  Nissan announced that its new minicar, the Roox, is deceptively spacious. To convey this point, the name is an amalgamation of room and max and was said to have been "designed to change people's impression of minicar interiors". Roox's "striking and elegant appearance" was also praised by the carmaker, as was its fuel efficiency rating of 21.5km/l2.

  New dog-themed plates for those buying a car 17 Jul 2009 (News)
  Their reserve prices are £3,200 and £900 respectively and the organisation plans to auction them on August 5th at the RBS Williams F1 Conference Centre in Wantage, Oxfordshire. Other plates on offer include those with Formula 1 connotations, such as F1 GUY, F1 MAX and F1 GER. Damian Lawson is marketing manager at DVLA Personalised Registrations and said there was a "huge selection". "We have a mix of F1 plates at the home of Williams' Formula 1," he explained.

  Ford overtaken in sales by VW 29 Aug 2008 (News)
  Indeed, this marks an increase of 7.2 per cent on statistics recorded in 2007, while Ford could only shift 3.22 million models over the same period. Prof Dr Martin Winterkorn, chairman of the board of management at VW, revealed that the firm is "delighted" with its position.

  Manheim Auctions hosts Ford Mondeo used car launch 16 Oct 2007 (News)
  Global automaker Ford has launched its Mondeo as a second-hand model at Manheim Auctions in Leeds. The vehicles displayed by the company all had 07-56 plates installed and had driven under 10,000 miles. In addition, the company managed to sell 152 Mondeos at auction, 33 of which were snapped up by eager buyers on the internet watching the action unfold via a weblink.
