  The figures show that the 2002-2009 Renault Megane fails a higher percentage of MoTs than any other car (28% failure rate) with the 2003-2006 Vauxhall Corsa in second with 24.7 per cent, the 2000-2005 Ford Mondeo in third with 21.8 per cent, the 2001-2010 Renault Clio in fourth with 21.2 per cent and the 1996-2009 Ford Ka in fifth with 21 per cent. The Toyota Corolla had the lowest failure rate – just 11.2 per cent.
