The car in question.. The 2006 Ford Mustang. New Car Import Services - HJ please read 19 Mar 2002 (Forum)
They talk of a new company that will handle the delivery etc. but I know for a fact that they have set up a new company with a slightly different name and I'm pretty sure that this is the company that will be handling the transaction, i.e. they are pulling a fast one. Please take this company off your places to buy an import car on your FAQ pages and warn anyone else off from dealing with this them (New Car Import Services Ltd) or their new company New-car-imports.com Ltd I don't know what I will do yet as I placed my deposit on a credit card cheque and will be covered for a full refund under the consumer credit act 1974 (although I suspect this could drag on a bit). -

Now the question is if I import to UK using Eurostar train or ferry would I need documents to entry in UK?, I will have to notification the DVLA. What about car insurance? I don’t think they have type of Lancia Thesis on their database as not been sold in UK before? -
RTAs No longer exist [Read only] 4 Jun 2009 (Forum)
To do this they need to utilise the fire service emergency toolkit computer model (FSEC). Why is this important because the FSEC computer does not recognise RTC's it would be overwhelmed. Again you ask why is this so important. Because you are 7x more likely to die in an RTC than an urban dwelling fire. So be reminded when they review the strategic plan in your area and the disposition of resources ask the question why RTC's are not included in FSEC. -
Warranty on import 27 Dec 2002 (Forum)
I declined saying that a local dealer could refuse to do the work under warranty as Motorpoint had tampered with the component and inmho this could also have warranty implications for anything that is related the radio area ( or electrics) I did not take the car home but wonder who is correct. I feel also that being an import the local dealer would be less than happy to stretch the warranty or help out..Can I refuse to accept the car on these grounds? Any opinions would be welcome thanks alan -
