Audi A4 B7 (2005 - 2008) - two clutches in 4,000 miles - I do NOT believe it! 11 Jul 2008 (Forum)
My company took delivery of a new Audi A4 1.8T on contract hire in late June last year. Seven weeks and 1,700 miles later the car was at my local dealer with "clutch problems". After several days I collected the car, to be told that the clutch and throttle had been replaced, all under warranty. The service technician informed me that the problem was due to a "manufacturing defect" and the use of "substandard quality materials". -
Citroen C3 (2002 - 2009) - Citroen C3 HDi - Our used car choice. 21 Dec 2009 (Forum)
The fact that we had owned Citroens on and off for 30+yrs was obviously a factor but we wanted the best car for our needs and the C3 came out tops on merit. Bought from the local Citroen dealers in the end... mainly for the assurance of a genuine car well prepped and warranty free of get out clauses. -
BMW 1 Series, E87, 116i - Problems with the car on a cold start 17 Dec 2018 (Forum)
Hi, I recently purchased a '57 plate BMW 116i 4 months ago from Arnold Clark and it has 2 years mechanical warranty. Mainly used for short commutes to work and back (less than 10 miles one-way) and going about town. Occasionally take it out for longer journeys to give it a good run. For the past month or so when I start the engine cold the car shakes from side to side, the revs drop below normal idle speed (pressing the accelerator does nothing) and it makes a noise like it's about to stall. -

ssangyong vehicles 7 Feb 2020 (Forum)
They both have small farms and tow trailers and horse boxes etc. One is brand new and the other second hand. The new one was about £20k and used one about £16k. Looks like a lot of car for the money. A dealership is located about 15 miles away in Maidstone for servicing etc. They come with a 7 year warranty too. I shall watch with interest their progress. -
