    I can't help thinking this problem would not exist at all if it were not for Audi's design of damped flywheel and fell aggrieved at having to pay a huge sum for their design flaw. I'd like to write and complain and try and get them to cough up the full value, but who too, the controlling group of Teeside Audi, Teeside itself, or to Audi UK.

  Hi I've got about £10k to spend and want an Audi A3, I do about 15k miles PA and want to know, if you take out the running costs which A3 Engine is the most reliable out of the 1.4 TFSI Petrol, 1.6 TDI or 2.0 TDI?   Also is there anything to look out for when looking at A3 which could be a bad sign?

  Hi all, wonder if anyone can help? My Audi A1 (21K milage) has a washer fluid warning light which came on at the weekend. I've topped up right to the top but the light wont go away. When I recheck it is still full so don't think there is a leak anywhere.

  The cruise control on my Audi has stopped working, no light on the dash and no response from the stalk to set it. I have asked my usual Audi garages main deler and Audi specialist but no joy except the usual bring it in and we will look at it.

  Hi looking at buying the above car with 50k miles on it 4 yrs old - 2011 model noticed it's only had 2 services to date ( one Audi dealer the other an independant ) Wondered what's the service schedule/intervals??   Hi All, My Audi is coming to the end of manufacturer's warranty of 3 years (End of this month) It has done about 31215 miles so far and I forecast less than 6000 miles per annum My quote with Audi for an extended warranty comes to £512 (0 Excess, Comprehensive, Without Roadside assistance) But wanted to take a general opinion of other Audi owners you had gone through the situation and know better - Is there any common red flags with Audi A4 2011 2.0 TDI 143 hp CVT (Automatic) that its better to cover with the warranty (For the miles I am forecasting and the miles the car has done so far) So far - My car has been maintained according to the Audi schedule and recently undergone MOT (Mar-2014) and a Full service / Oil change as a part of my service plan Any advice would be great Thanks S

  I have a 2010 Audi A4 diesel auto. When idle, the rpm jumps erratically. It doesn't do this while driving normally though. What could be causing this?

  I've had a cursory look at both the Saab 9-3 and Audi A4, as both do diesel automatics. In the Saab it's the 150bhp engine and in the Audi it a choice of 130bhp 4-cyl or 163bhp 6-cyl units. I know most about the Audi 130bhp engine and the need for it to bed in properly and to check the oil before it gives of its best.
