  Hello, I wondered if you might be able to help me. I bought a 1 year old, one owner, Nissan Micra from a Nissan dealer in Jan '07. Everything seemed to be in perfect working order & the vehicle had 3 services left on it's warantee (which expires Jan '10). It had a service with the same Nissan dealer in '07 & another in '08.

  I lost my Nissan Micra 1.0 Inspiration 1999 key and trying to get a reasonably priced replacement. It had a transponder for the immobiliser. I took my spare to Timpsons in Leeds and the chap put the key in the machine so could copy the transponder and cut the key and confirmed that car should work once I use it.

  I drive an L Reg Nissan Micra - unsurprisingly, it's my first car, and whilst it isn't remotely stylish, it's got low mileage and has been utterly reliable since I bought it. However, I had it serviced in July at a Nissan dealership and they seem to have caused more harm than good.
