Has anyone in the Back Room ever driven a Nissan Micra 160SR?
Is there a road test available?

I remember the 'test' in the Motoring Torygraph when the 160SR was launched was very positive.

Seems like an entertaining car at the price.

I've seen one at Car Giant.
2006 06 for £6800 which is £1200 less than similar at my local main dealer.
Anyone had experience of this car supermarket?
How do they manage to sell at such a low price?

They are very good.

Main thing is they will try and sell you warranties, gap insurance and finance. This is most of their profit margin - you'll pay with a debit card if you've got any sense

A lot of the time they have very high mileage, but for the car in question

this doesn't apply. Price is about £500 above PX value, so they can still make a profit.

Massive place - thousands of cars to look at, so high volume means lower overheads

No meaningful test drive available (just a 20mph drive around the industrial estate)

No salesman unless you ask for one - just look around
