In the Black Horse section just about every 2nd car seemed to be a Range Rover, but some of the prices they were run to or knocked down for weren’t too bad in the circumstances. Judge for yourself. As usual, ‘s’ means ‘sold’, ‘p’ means ‘provisional’, ‘n/w’ means miles not warranted. -
Honest John's Motoring Agony Column 20-6-2015 20 Jun 2015 (News)
It is a diesel least likely to suffer DPF problems as long as it gets a reasonable number of regular long runs to balance pottering about locally. I quite like the look of the Mercedes GLA, but I wouldn't recommend one. Neither would I recommend the Lexus NX hybrid, but a new 2.0 petrol turbo NX should be arriving soon. -

BCA Pulse June 2010: Markets calm in June, but pressure remains 14 Jul 2010 (News)
Performance against CAP Clean was broadly in line with last month at 96.68%.Year on year values, however, remain behind for the second month running, but by a lower margin than seen in May - just £48 separates the average values recorded in June 2009 from June 2010, compared to £117 last month. The primary driver of the value recovery was a change in model mix that saw a 16% uplift in the volume of premium fleet cars sold by BCA. -
Used car price rises mask sector declines, says BCA 16 Jan 2010 (News)

To stand a chance of winning, all visitors need to do is pick up a leaflet and answer a simple question based on the top tips, which include, keeping your tyres correctly inflated, as this could improve fuel consumption by 4%, assisting your car's aerodynamics by removing roof racks when not in use and not having windows open when traveling at high speeds. -

Disabled people who have purchased adapted vehicles at the zero rate may use these vehicles in their work capacity where this is incidental to their main use as a private vehicle. -
City Rover Goes on Sale from £6,495 6 Nov 2003 (News)
MG Rover Group engineers have tuned the chassis, which has all-independent coil sprung suspension (McPherson strut front, semi-trailing arms at the rear), specifying 14 inch by 5J wheels and 175/60R 14 tyres, a lower ride height and revised damper and spring rates to give an optimised ride and handling balance. Smooth running is ensured by the fully counterbalanced crankshaft running in five main bearings, with a deep-skirted crankcase extending well below the crankshaft centreline for greater strength and stiffness. As part of the CityRover specification, engineers have added a hydraulic engine mount for enhanced refinement.
