  Iincidentally this "pond" at front would happen even when the car was parked on our (level) drive. Is it really possible this can happen or is it most likely that I have a separate leak at the front too?

  I don't know whether to praise Kwik-Fit for their service or complain about the quality of the parts that they fit. I have had (all under guarantee) THREE sets of front discs in under a year. Each time a couple of months after being fitted the brakes judder when braking, especially after they have warmed up a bit. As the car has only done 60,000 (I have all the service invoices and MOT's to prove) I want to keep the car, but after the current set being fitted today, I only have a month before the overall guarantee runs out 29th March 2014.

  Lubricating front brake sliders with rubber seals ------------------------------------------------------------------ My car has just been through MOT, one of front brakes was binding. When I checked it, one of sliders was stuck which I have freed & lubricated with some spray 3 in 1 oil & spray grease or castrol LM Grease.

  I went to replace the front brake pads and brake disks on my car for the first time since buying it. The bottom bolt is standard hexagonal head and the top bolt is a completely round head. I thought the top bolt was damaged, so i checked the bolts on the other caliper and they are exactly the same, hexagonal head on the bottom bolt and the top bolt is completely round.

  Hi,  My friend thought he was helping me out which I appreciate and recently installed a new coil spring on the front passenger side of my car.   When driving my picasso last weekend I have noticed that the passenger front end seemed alot lower compared to the drivers side.   It's always been serviced and has been completely reliable. Recently there has been a 'knocking' or clonking noise from the front suspension. This is most ibvious at low speed and you pass over broken surfaces. Although it's hard to be exact it seems to be affecting both the left and right sides.   Saw an odd thing while changing the front pads and discs at the front this morning. With the car jacked up and both road-wheels off, I started the engine. The front driveshafts, discs and hubs all spun around slowly forward for about 5 seconds before stopping!

  Hi guys, just had my MOT failed on both of my front seats cannot be secured in the upright position. Tried the vaccum line that controls the seat mechanism and there is no vaccum present with the ignition switched on or the engine running.
