• Nissan Terrano II - Insurance rip off 25 May 2010 (Forum)
  Up until a year ago I had an old Nissan terrano.  When I sold the car I obviously cancelled my insurance and received the cancellation note stating as such.  Last month I received a renewal notice for the insurance of the vehicle.

  Personally I reckon its got life left in it for a couple of more years, especially as I'd have to lend her the cash for whatever replaces it. The Nissan was £3.5k 6 years ago so its done pretty well.

  I have just bought an M reg Nissan Sunny which, once warm, stalls when braking and changing down the gears. The revs drop off when the clutch is dropped, the throttle off and the brake applied, and the car stalls as it comes to a stand still.

  I've got a Nissan Almera 1997 - the centre console has buttons including the hazard lights, but whilst driving at night I noticed the light behind the hazard lights button has burnt out. I've located two screws half-way down the console, however, I'm not sure whether this is a good idea, i.e. worth it for the sake of a bulb.

  I've been called for a survey by a company claiming to be working on behalf of of Nissan. They knew I'd taken my four-year-old Nissan in for an out of warranty repair, and were asking for my opinion. I made it clear I didn't want any of my personal details being passed to any other third parties, although Nissan had obviously passed my personal details to them!

  Hi All My wife and I have just bought a 'Y' reg Nissan Almera Tino 2.2Di SE+. Unforntunately I never checked the operation of the window wipers. The first shower we had highlighted the problem. It seems that when the window screen is dry/damp/wet, the wipers struggle to complete a full cycle and they stop at various places on the screen.

  Had the Nissan Note for about a year now with no drama or fuss. Until we have a few days of sunshine recently. Pull down sunvisor and push it against windscreen and it gradually starts "coming away" from the windscreen within a few minutes and "hanging" directly down from the rail.
