  • Seat Leon FR TDi 170: 5,500mile report 3 Jan 2007 (Forum)
The performance is (ahem) enthusiastic and the front end grip surprisingly good ? I enjoy driving this car fast on B roads in a way I never have in any other car. It inspires confidence and feels faster than it is. 3rd gear is absolutely stonking. Kept a check on consumption manually for the first 1500 miles and found the trip meter was never more than 0.5mpg out so stopped bothering with the calculations.

  • Honda Jazz - Dealer Servicing or Not ? 16 Jun 2010 (Forum)
Hi All,    Have a 53 Jazz thats needs major service and been quoted around the £500 mark for it. Now in my younger days I handled almost any job on a car and can more than easily do a major on my Jazz ( mind the comfort of a heated garage with full Audio entertainment, soft furnishing on floor and surgical gloves are a pre-req these days ) and was wondering, as the car is now 7 yr old, is there any valuein a dealer stamped service history at that age ?

  • Warm feet - cool face 23 Nov 2005 (Forum)
I can set the heater to warm the cabin and cool my face at the same time. Great for keeping alert on long winter motorway journeys. Most new cars these days have sophisticated systems that cannot achieve this simple setting. Does anyone know of a current car (other than Rover) where the heating/ventialtion setting can work like this? Thanks for your help.
