  I have recently noticed that when using the heated rear screen on my 1998 Mondeo that I get radio interference. Any ideas on how to solve this - if difficult/expensive I would probably not bother as it doesn\'t annoy me that much. All help appreciated, Thanks, Andy.

  Hello All I have got a Peugeot 306 Turbo Diesel on a 1997 R plate. The probelm I have is that the interior heating fan does not operate and also the the heated rear screen does not work. Has anyone else had this problem? Are the two faults related to each other?   Hello All - Just got my car back from an MOT and my heating has severely deteriorated - even though it was in perfect working order prior to this.  I usually have it just over half-way on (just in the red) and it's always been comfortable, but now, even though it's on full it's just about warm.

  Hi guys, I am having a problem with my heating: It doesn't work. It started failing intermittantly at first and now it doesn't work at all. The exception to this was yesterday when on a long journey, I had been driving for around 70 miles and it started to work.

  it would appear that the heating side of things in my 1999 S Type is not what it should be. I usually drive all year round with the climate on 22 degrees and haven't noticed anything wrong...however with this really cold weather i cranked it up a couple of degrees and didn't notice any difference.

  I'm pretty sure I'm getting a good deal but the guy works at a garage so I'm doubting things a bit. Here's more info on the car: -17 Plate Astra -Top of the range Elite Nav model (8 inch screen, heated leather seats, heated steering wheel, heated wheel etc.) -Parking Sensors being fitted -10000 Miles - 1.4 Engine - 2 year warranty I think he may just be offended that I didn't ask him first as the whole thing really seems to have got to him.

    I stopped driving when the temp gauge shot up, and we put warm water into the coolant tank and that seemed to solve the problem sufficiently for me to get the last mile or so to my parents' house. I had a long journey in front of me so I called the RAC to come out and look at it.  The engineer took the car a short drive and concluded that it seemed to be fine i.e. it was no longer over-heating. I was a bit uneasy about driving it, despite his assessment, so after further discussions, he agreed to follow me into his garage (about 10 miles away) and he would check the car over there again before I continued my journey to Glasgow (over 100 miles).

  Father-in-law was lucky to escape injury the other day when the heated seat started smouldering in his Golf. It was on its lowest setting, and he felt it get uncomfortably hot followed by a burning smell. He turned it off, jumped out of the car, and found a 2p sized burn hole in the seat pad, and singed trousers.

  I’ve had this crv for a few months now,and I’m very happy with it,apart from one thing. The heater in this Honda seems to take ages to get the warm air flowing.   Hi all I have asked this questio ona nother forum, but so far no-one has been able to help, so I thought I'd try it here - apologies for repetition. My friend has an R Reg Clio 1.4, and the driver side windscreen wiper managed to disconnect itself from the mechanism and pivot past the side of the windscreen. There was also a smell of burning, not unlike a scalextric set. I had a look under the panel where the jack is housed, the linkage from the motor had fallen/popped off the end of the wiper arm.
