  Yippee - I've sold my imported Golf and am looking at buying a sports car. Had planned on the TT but decided against it. Two other options come to mind: mazda rx 8 nissan 350 z They're both corkers to look at but I've heard some negative things about the Mazda (albeit from the Nissan salesman). Reviews on both cars have been quite fair/impressive but I've yet to see them in the flesh and or test drive them Any thoughts?

  In the Past Couple of years we have had a fair few Changes. Underwoods who were Skoda, Kia, Vauxhall and Mazda on the same site with Vauxhall in one showroom and Kia and Mazda in another closed in 2023. Skoda were on a bigger site across the road also closed. Skoda now share what was the VW site near the football stadium and take up 50% of the showrooms which are "separated"  but same receptionist on the door who will direct as needed.

  Looking as ever for that elusive car for a potential replacement for the Korando. First, went to Mazda.. CX30 Seating too low and not as nice (comfortable) as the Korando, didn't test drive. Bit later Omoda 5.. head touching the roof even on lowest setting in showroom model. Car with no sunroof marginally better but had to have seat at lowest and quite a lot reclined, Driving  position weird if i sat  so that my head didn't touch roof, seat bolsters holding tight, but cabin felt cramped with that godawful high centre console with the slanted phone holder tray covered in something felty?

    Here is my question....the tyres on the car I bought are TOYO (a premium brand) but they are offering to replace them with a budget tyre (ROADX, a budget tyre from China). Where do I stand - Mazda assure me this won't affect the 2 yers remaining on the warranty, but I'm feeling duped at having the prospect of having budget tyres fitted in place of premium ones that were fitted when I viewed/bought the car?

  Can anyone help me with this problem on my 2000 Mazda B2500 please. Got in it the other morning battery was too flat to turn the engine to start it. Charged the battery up and got it running but the battery light was on all the time. Put a meter on the battery with engine runnning and it stayed at about 11.9 volts even when I revved it up hard.

  Using the Mazda today I have noticed a mid pitched “mechanical” whirring noise from the alternator when the ignition is switched to the first position. When I then turn the ignition further the car starts without a problem and with the engine noise it’s impossible to tell if the whirring noise has gone or not.

  Recently I returned a car and managed to get a refund for a Mazda 6 that I bought that had a lot of problems with it. The car was returned within 4 weeks of purchsing it and the dealer was ok with it so that wasn't an issue. But when I returned the keys and paper work I also returned the V5C/2 (A little green form) and it was returned before the main V5C certificate had come through to me.

  More 'directly related' mechanics felt differently. The Auris I am going out tomorrow for a test drive - like the blue. The Mazda 3 MK1 is always in the background. Will go and see another Lancer on Monday 1.5 11 with about 25K. I need to buy soon, and am going round in circles - any pointers would be gratefully recieved.

Well, I took delivery of a Mazda 6 TS earlier this week and, so far, I am more than happy with it - in fact it is absolutely superb. However, the trip computer is causing me problems. The fuel consumption figures are shown in 'Litres/100 miles'.
