There will also be a ‘Movie Car Seven’ with a Back to the Future De Lorean and ‘Love Bug’ Herbie Beetle. There’s even an ‘Anniversary Seven’ including the Maserati Tipo 61 ‘Birdcage’ owned by Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason, and an ‘Unusual Seven’ containing Honda’s record-breaking 130mph lawn mower. -

So, for its 95th company birthday, the Techno-Classica organiser SIHA, ensured that the marque was celebrated in style, surrounded by some of the most exclusive dealers and auction houses. The cars on display included Zagato specials from Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Maserati, and Lancia. The Alfa Romeo TZ (for Tubolare Zagato, above) and 1900 SSZ (below) are typical of the company's amazing back-catalogue. -
Goodwood Festival of Speed: Supercars to take centre stage 5 Jul 2013 (News)
Visitors will be able to get up close to the cars as there’ll be a huge static display taking place near the Festival of Speed TECH dome. The Ferrari SP12 EC, Maserati Ghibli and Nissan 370Z Nismo will be shown for the first time in the UK, while visitors will also get a chance to see the launch of the Peugeot Onyx and Renault Twin’Run. Rolls-Royce is promising a special display, with the launch of its new Wraith, while Aston Martin will be showing off its prototype Rapide Bertone Jet 2+2. -

Racing legend Moss led 84 cars – the largest collection of Grand Prix cars ever assembled – around the famous Northamptonshire circuit at the Silverstone Classic on Sunday, 27 July. Moss led the parade in a Maserati 250F and was joined at the front by David Brabham, son of three-time World Champion Jack, who passed away earlier this year. David drove a Brabham BT24. Jaguar XK140s promise exciting racing in the Fordwater Trophy for production-based sports cars of a type that raced between 1955 and 1960, and a number of D-types will be vying for victory in the Sussex Trophy, competing against contemporary sports cars from Ferrari, Maserati and Aston Martin.
