    A question for any heating engineers or plumbers on this site. Gas central heating system with boiler and storage tank supplying heating and hot water. Have the heating off at the timer control. Hot water still on.

  First off, new poster here, with as much car knowledge as a new born baby. My heaters in the car don't seem to work proper, they blow cold air 95% of the time. And once in a blue moon they give me some (little) heat for 20mins max when the car has run for 10-15 mins.

  with the current frosty weather we are having i have noticed that my heated screen clears all but the right hand 6-8 inches. it was the same with my last car, is it typical of fords? (current transit, previous mondeo) OR is it something to do with most cars being destined to be LHD. the left side clears first and quickest.

  The car has had the bypass valves regarding the heater matrix recall alraeady fitted. Apart from the matrix i don't know what the problem could be.

  I have a 1950 Morris Oxford.  The coil heats up after running her for a while...I've put a new coil on but it's heating up as well.  What would cause the coil to heat up?  The car stalls and stops when the coil gets very hot.  Thanks

  I bought some of those Holte Wipes to clean the inside of my Windscreen but they just smeared it, Wiped off the excess with a paper towel but now they mist up all smeared and type of shiny - What's the best way to clean them ? It's one of those Ford Quickclear screens if it makes any difference.

  My Shogun has very little heating inside the vehicle. I have flushed the cooling system and added a system flushing agent this has had little effect. Is the only possible reason for this now is due to the matrix being blocked, or is there another possible explanation?

  Hi there....I don't know anything much about cars first of all!! This particular problem started when I started getting smoke coming into the car through the interior heating ducts (and steaming up my windows). It smells slightly sweet. I have been told that this is my heating radiator that is leaking. today I see that the passenger footwell is wet under the mat.and I am now having to top up the water quite a bit.
